Universal Joint Redesign
While the principles and basic design of the current universal joint is good, the current implementation suffers from excessive friction and difficulty in controlling the curl axis.
To solve this the joint has been redesigned, based around the same principle but refined.
With the implementation of bearings on each joint, and the integration of the centre control bar with one of the connectors, friction was greatly reduced, and implemented a control mechanism for the curl inline with the axis, allowing both degrees of freedom to operate together.
